What is wireless charging technology?
Wireless charging technology comes from wireless power transmission technology. Wireless charging, also known as induction charging and non-contact induction charging, is a device that uses near-field induction, i.e. inductive coupling, to transfer energy from the power supply equipment (charger) to the power consumption. The device uses the received energy to charge the battery and at the same time provide it for its own operation. Because the energy between the charger and the electric device is transmitted by inductive coupling, and there is no wire connection between them, the charger and the electric device can be exposed without conductive contact.
Advantages and disadvantages of wireless charging
As the saying goes, everything has its good side and its bad side, so does the generation of wireless charging technology.
Benefits:
1. The wireless magnetic induction charging equipment can be invisible, with low wear rate, wide application range, and relatively reduced public charging area, but the reduced share of floor area will not be too large.
2. With high technical content and convenient operation, it can implement relatively long-distance radio energy conversion, but the transmission distance of high-power wireless charging is limited within 5 meters, not too far.
3. Easy to operate.
Disadvantages:
1. Although the technical content of the equipment is high, the economic cost of the equipment is high and the maintenance cost is large.
2. Due to the realization of long-distance high-power wireless magnetoelectric conversion and wireless charger, the energy consumption of the equipment is high. With the increase of distance and power of wireless charging equipment, the loss of reactive power will be greater.
3. The wireless charging technology equipment itself realizes the secondary energy conversion, that is to say, after the network voltage is reduced (or directly) to DC, the switch control AC conversion output with a higher frequency is carried out. Because the high-power AC-DC-AC current conversion is the reason for the secondary wireless transmission of electric energy, the vehicle wireless charger, so the electromagnetic space magnetic loss rate is too large.
Wireless charging technology represents the future, just like using mobile phones and wired phones, WiFi and fixed networks, wireless is not as powerful as wired in terms of performance, but in terms of popularity and practicability, wireless technology has become the mainstream.
